Didn't retract.

I made a new purchase today. Actually I made a new purchase the other day but it didn't work so today I returned the item which didn't work and bought the much simpler, basic and cheaper one which can't really go wrong - unless it snaps.

I'm talking about my new washing line. I've had a few of those rotary things but I love a straight line with a prop. There must be a prop.

The one replaced was a retractable one. guess what - it didn't retract!
