Birthday weekend (1)

It's my wife's birthday! So the day starts with our youngest daughter being ill and ends with eldest daughter being ill. Between these two incidents there's an unexpected two hour traffic delay on the way to our destination.

So, we're in Elton in Derbyshire, which is a beautiful and tranquil, with that slight whiff of what is euphemistically referred to as 'the countryside.'
