The Colour of Friendship

When I arrived at Virginia' this morning, she already had another visitor on her sofa. Katie had called in and brought these beautiful flowers. Both women love colour - Virginia paints and also carefully coordinates her clothes and accessories (she is fond of purple, like me). Katie spins, knits and weaves and loves putting unexpected colour mixes into her rollags to make lovely yarn. Today we were all wearing shades of blue and purple - an unplanned and happy mix of colours and friends.
