Drought liking plants!

Geraniums seem to be the most useful in the garden when there is dry conditions!
This pot of beauty 's are really neglected and sparsely watered, " I'm ashamed to say" but they survive I only wish I could keep them during the winter, but try as I might I just don't succeed ! Any ideas?????
