Sour Grapes
Today, the rain that we badly needed and has avoided us of late arrived. Fortunately it wasn't as bad as some areas not far from here where they suffered flooding, torrential rain and hail. Our water butts are now full, everything is refreshed and even the suntanned lawn seems to be recovering.
Today's blip is of one of the many varieties of penstemon that we have here, they are great plants which survive the winter and need no special treatment or staking. This one is called Sour Grapes and I love the name as much as the plant itself!
