Houseplant

I don't have many houseplants and am generally poor at looking after them, but this one (a gift for my birthday from Alex 18 months ago) has been doing remarkably well and just keeps on flowering. I have no idea what it is.

Back out into the big world tomorrow, full of both opportunities and obstacles. Fingers crossed for plenty of the former and not so many of the latter. When to try and when to let go seems to be the ongoing dilemma for me. Trying not to try so hard?!
