change of scene
Took myself over to West Wemyss at lunchtime, buffalo burger under my arm.
The weather was beautiful. Calm. Cloudless.
The harbour over there is even quieter than Dysart. Just me and a small boy on his bike.
One blunder however. Sat down on the breakwater wall to eat my food, and caught a whiff of something unpleasant. That's when I realised I was right above some empty lobster creels. Rotting fish... Well, at least it wasn't the burger.
The Blip is the Valentina, waiting to move upriver to Grangemouth. Registered in the Marshall Islands and 17,300 tonnes. She seems to potter about between Antwerp, Teesside and here.
