Crested China 11 - Douglas, Isle Of Man

This is one of the new pieces obtained yesterday and is the only piece I have that is from the Isle Of Man. Douglas is the Capital of the island and has a population of nearly 29,000. It is home to the Government and acts as the Business and Financial centre for the island. In my past jobs in Insurance and the paying out of annuities, there was always work that involved the Isle Of Man with special cheques and the tax. It is also home to the start and finish of the famous TT races. This small bowl has no markings on it at all. Many collectors go for the makers such as Goss which is high quality. My interest is in the places on each item and not who they were made by or value. Due to space limitations I always go for the small items!
