Up Calton Hill for a read

Bit too hot (in black jeans anyway) to stay for long but it was a good spot to brush up on composition (The Photographer's Eye, Michael Freeman).

This is the Dugald Stewart Monument - Dugald was a philosopher at the University of Edinburgh but also did a stint lecturing mathematics.
