An early walk in Lambel

A sleepy hamlet near Camors in Brittany. Derelict property
abounds which seems to be the result of French laws of
succession where a family home can end up in the joint
ownership of all the children and possibly grandchildren.
Disputes would mean that no decision would ever be made
to sell. Slow decay slides into irreversible ruin. The only
beneficiaries are then the passing photographers who love
aged ruins which like, an old face, frequently speak of the
life they have seen.
