A Sharp Car

Most of the time when you go to a car show, the owner is sitting somewhere near the vehicle, and the exchange goes something like this:

"Hey...nice car."

"Thank you." OR

"Love your car Sir."

"Hey, I appreciate that." OR

"Cool car buddy."

Then the guy gives his Elvis impression..."Thank you...thank you very much."

But...was does Mr. Sharp, the local funeral director say?

"Hey, that's a sharp car."

"Yes, it is."

"Whaddya mean...yes it is?"

"Yes it is...it's a Sharp car."

If you didn't know better, the response might come off as kind of pompous, kind of high-faluting, kind of I-have-an-old-car-and-you-don't- kind of vibe.

Such is the life for Mr. Sharp, and his old Ford.

Some old car license plates tell the year of the car. This one doesn't. I'm guessing 1930's. Someone enlighten me if you know.
