I finally got around to trying out the Hawthorn printing inks yesterday. This gold is stunning on top of deep pinky red. Though they have wonderful depth of colour I think I have to decide on when it's best to use them as being oil based they certainly take more cleaning up than the inks I'm more used to using.

Morning: clearing up the conservatory so I could print. Talking with M as he put the finishing touches to the stretch of wall he's been repairing. He's going to change some of the top horizontal blocks for upright toppers - they look better. Coping with the aftermath of a neighbours emotional wobble and I was wasn't the one in the direct firing line.
