Wattle Blossom

Today I ran out of inspiration for blipping. I suppose every regular Blipper feels like that at times. The day was grey with rain in the afternoon. I took a camera with me as usual on my dog walk. I felt quite uninspired until I came across a wattle tree in flower. It is one of the early flowering varieties and makes for a splash of cheerful colour on a grey day. I would have done better with a macro lens. Sometime I will take some wattle flowers home and capture their miniature beauty with my big camera and macro lens. But I was reasonably happy with today’s image…it is cheerful and reminds me that spring is not too far away.
