Fear of Flying

Sometimes, when feeling in control and appreciating how incredibly lucky I am (which I am) I feel like a jet pilot. More specifically, the feeling is that of a stunt pilot; slightly out of control, pulling some good tricks and wowing the crowd from a distance.

Close up, all is different.

More often I am a co-pilot; not in control of my own destiny. Sometimes, I'm only really over seeing the operation of an auto-pilot.....

Enough philosophising for the day.

I must regain my confidence for the next two days which are going to be very challenging.

On goes the Red Arrows pilot suit.....
