A Common Weed - Avena barbata

This is Avena barbata a very common weed here and in many other parts of the world.

Its a wild bearded oat which really comes into its own in winter and I am seeing them everywhere at the moment! Brought home a few seeds today to have a look at them in macro and liked the results!
