I used to think it was just another word for coffee - it was a coffee substitute in the war, and it was years before i found it was a plant with glorious blue flowers. Photo doesn't do the colour justice. Growing beside the south Downs way. Lovely walk, with views over the Weald, which was dark blue in the distance.
