Looking at paintings

Today we met up with our friends at the Dean gallery to see the American Impressionists exhibition. I really enjoyed the paintings and as P is a painter himself it's very interesting to hear his responses to pictures.
Here they are outside the massively grey and solid building which was a hospital for orphaned children in the past. I love it's position overlooking the west end of town and Stewarts Melville school behind it.
