Badminton

After last night's athletics, I managed to watch a little bit of badminton today. Part work, I was doing some checks on the medicines stored in the venue but I also had a chance to see some of the back of house areas. The velodrome is already being closed down after competition and is much changed from last week. I had hoped to meet up with my friend who is an official at the badminton, but she was out on court so I watched the game for a bit instead.

Back at the village I watched some kids singing in a UNICEF event on the village green before I headed back to the office. I should have stayed a bit longer; visits from some royals, Chris Hoy and Usain Bolt too!
