Monreith Bay

This lovely spot is a favourite place of mine to stop and take pictures when I'm in Dumfries and Galloway. Just behind me and a little higher is a wonderfully located bungalow, with open sea views as far as the eye can see.

A couple of years ago Pam and I were here taking pics when a teenage girl got off the school bus and started to walk towards the bungalow, I started chatting to her and asked what she thought of living in such an idyllic spot. "It's a bit borin" came the teenage flavoured reply, I could only smile and asked her to tell her parents if they ever wanted to sell to let me know ;-)

Try it large and see if you can spot the Mull of Galloway lighthouse!
