Oh Deer!

I walked through Richmond Park after work tonight, with a telephoto lens in the hope of capturing some deer shots. I expected, like last week, I'd walk for ages to find some deer and they'd be far enough away to need a long lens... well, this chap was right by the roadside just through the gate I entered by, and so close that I actually needed to pull my zoom back to its widest! He seemed very unflustered by the cars and bikes passing close by.
