Hadrian's Wall Trail
I was in Haltwhistle all day because we put on a training day for new leaders/backups with a few old hands coming along for a refresher. It's always a good day. Harry and I have developed a sort of double act: he runs the day and I chip in and interrupt to add bits of extra information!
After a quick shop, I was on the way home and stopped here to capture my blip. I liked the warm light on the brown grasses which were swaying in a sharp breeze. (Temperature in Haltwhistle was only 14 degrees C in drizzle this morning, but the weather improved by afternoon.)
Tonight the photographic society got together for a social/mini exhibition. Our regular venue is closed for renovation so we are not putting on our usual 2 week show. It was very pleasant to meet friends, look at the images on show (interesting, well executed work of great variety) and enjoy drinks and nibbles.
