Blue, Yellow, Green

When I drive back from Aberdeen, I like to "decompress" - especially if I've been there on business, like today - by taking a cross-country route, and I inevitably find myself on smaller and smaller roads as I get closer to home.

I saw this view as I rounded a bend on a single track road. I managed to pull into the entrance of a field and stopped to take a few shots.

What caught my eye was the sun shining on the ripe fields, and I first did this to it - it appealed in some ways, but I thought with the bright yellow it came out a touch tacky. So I went for the natural colours in the end.

A bit of a busy day - this was my one chance to grab a blip - and I'm sorry I've fallen behind with comments. Will try to catch up tomorrow!
