Singing Ringing Tree
Up and out at ridiculous o'clock this morning to pay a visit to the Singing Ringing Tree with Mr Midds. It's one of a number of Panopticons around Lancashire. Bloody cold, but well worth it for that moment when the sun just breaks over the horizon and lends a golden hue to everything.
We were really fortunate to have such cracking weather. It's been shitty and grey all week, but this morning was clear and crisp. There was a bit of wind too. Just enough to blow across the metal pipes that make up the tree and cause it sing and ring it's Forbidden Planet-esque space tunes at us.
There was a bit of larking with a speedlight before we left ... it's rude not to :)
