St Cuthbert's Graveyard - Edinburgh
I popped into Jessops at the West End for a Gorillapod then a quick vist to St Cuthberts for today's blip.
Another favourite haunt of mine when i'm out and about with my camera. Quite a few spooky looking headstones from the 1700s. Unfortunately this one is quite worn and it's hard to make out the inscription. I would imagine that back then a headstone like this would be quite expensive. The last time i was here, just after Christmas there was a candle beside this grave. Something sinister perhaps or just one of the few homeless people who shelter in some of the tombs at night?
