Colorado: Panning is for the birds!

Subtitle: How to paint lipstick on a pig!

I was out walking in the park and it started to rain - again! It has rained almost every day since we have been in Colorado (over three weeks). As I started to wrap up my camera in the extra shirt I had been wearing over my tee shirt, I saw the great blue heron. He was still as a statue. Then he saw me. We locked eyes and I slowly raised my camera and . . . he took off. I just snapped off a few shots, but they were all BLUR!

Since these are the only shots I took, I decided to "put lipstick on the pig" by playing around in Photoshop. Sorry for the poor offering today.
