My Next Tooth

Today was "implant day". The stud on which a new (man-made) tooth will be fastened was secured in my upper jaw.
This is the X-Ray of the finished project (at least for today).
In a few months, after the gum has fully healed, the new tooth will be installed.

The procedure was painless and even now, 6 hours later, there is only very light discomfort. I'll be at work tomorrow for sure.
