Drops of rain

It's been very wet today, with thunder, lightning and power cuts tonight. The thunder is so loud, the house is rumbling.

I'd love to be able to photograph the lightning, but I just don't have the skills required to set my camera to be able to get the brilliantly bright images.

So, I've had to resort to my rain drops today. It was just getting dark when I took this photo. My flash highlights different colours, giving the photo an assortment of colours and bokeh. And of course I've captured the reflection of the bokeh in the drop.

It's teaming outside. I hope this heavy rain doesn't continue too long, or else we will be building an ark for our animals. :)
