Long Exposure Night
Late at night when you have taken no photos, there comes a choice to be made.. another photo of Mash or go for a drive. Driving sounded like a great plan and Charlie needed to check some stuff and things. This photo is of what I gather is a recent instalment in what used to be the city centre. I have to admit, I don't often travel into town. It isn't that I fear another quake (they are always likely to happen), it is that it just doesn't interest me. I feel like I am out of place. It's weird.
Tonight we had buttermilk pancakes with maple bananas. Mash helped me mix everything together like a big boy. He didn't spill any, but unfortunately he did drop the sieve into the wet mixture. Oops.
Lovely day at home. Good news from yesterday was Mash potentially being accepted into the school we've been hoping to get him into for the last 2 years!! I had a call from the principal yesterday who was lovely and very very willing to work with us and all his care providers to make the transition as smooth as possible. Yay!!
