Waiting
J, who is coping - just - with living at home, had two appointments today in different hospitals and asked if I would ferry her.
There was lots of hanging around and moving between different sections of the eye department at Gartnavel General in the west end of Glasgow, so J needed a wheelchair, since her lung function is still severely limited due to her scleroderma.
From there, three hours later, I drove her to the Royal Infirmary in the city centre and dropped her off for a 4-hour session of dialysis. J, poor soul, didn't get home till after 7pm and was completely exhausted.
