Doggies

Duncan has always been afraid of dogs and cats. This holiday has been a big personal challenge for him. He was happy bossing Burt (5 mths pup)and Tilly (spaniel) around at Ani's and shadow and midnight, two cats at Wendy's. Here he is lying in a 1920s carriage on the Bluebell railway stroking Gus, a lovely labradoodle puppy. He and Gus became firm friends by the end of our camping. It's lovely to see him become more confident with them.

We had a fab day of playing in mud and streams, eating ice lollies, riding on the bluebell railway, eating icecreams, spotting crickets in the clover, throwing balls for Gus, toasting marshmallows over the fire and playing starwars in the dark with a light up lights sabre.
