Tour archaeological excavations...

Yes I made it to the tour...

There are now about twenty graves found with traces of given gifts such as beads, jars and swords.
On my photo collage you can see the grave field where they are working now.

Today they found a grave of a woman with pot and beads. They know that it is a grave of a women because men were buried with a sword, belt and knife. Women were given a jar and beads into their grave. Because the soil over here is deficient in lime they find no skeletal remains.

It was super interesting, glad I went to the tour...Well I have to go dig in my own memory, so much information in a short time...
