Ring of Brodgar
This is a late neolithic stone circle dating from about 2500 - 2000BC. It's much bigger than we expected and in a beautiful setting between two lochs.
We also saw Skara Brae (a group of neolithic houses), the Ness of Brodgar (an active archaeological dig) and the standing stones of Stenness.
