To Finish the Job

Yesterday you saw some of my honeycomb in the process of having its honey pressed out.

Where the honeycomb has a nice even wax capping (as seen here) it can be cut out and sold separately.

So here is the end product in its plastic containers and ready for sale.

You may wonder what the stainless steel item is on the right hand side. This is the comb cutter.

If you think that it looks curiously like a Fray Bentos tin with a handle then you would be correct. The original design was in fact fabricated from such a tin!
