Cavorting Cosmos

I wanted to call this Dancing Daisies but my son exclaimed "Cosmos!" So hence Cavorting Cosmos.

A friend came round for coffee this morning and we had a good time catching up and looking at photos of our respective recent holidays. She was very taken with the look of Cambridge and hopes to visit there for a few days to see the Chapel etc.

I spent the afternoon reading another book on my Kindle in the shade of the walnut tree. Not enjoying this book as much, but have read about a third of it already. The characters in it aren't particularly likeable and one is a positive caricature. I think the book is meant to be funny and I have found it funny a couple of times...but most isn't my sense of humour really...I may just delete it and not bother!

Came indoors and did a few bits around the house as I felt I was wasting the afternoon! I think I may go out for a walk this evening.
