Mortonhall

Mortonhall is an open estate not far from where we live, and it's a lovely place to walk around. There's a fabulous arboretum there, highland cattle, horses, and some lovely wee paths and trails.

It also has the Stable Bar (in an old stable building), which has been under new management since last month. We've been there many times before, but hadn't visited since the new people took it over. It now does superb bar food. We spent a nice lazy afternoon there today.
