Lake Myvatin

This lake is widely known for its tremendous birdlife. We saw Great Northern Divers aplenty, ditto Slavonian Grebes.

However most sensible birds were hunkered down. Only 7 degrees C, a biting north-west wind and a steady drizzle. Dreich isn't in it.

Next year it's Butlins at Ayr.
