Glen Tarbert. Three days out of Two

Glen Tarbert, in my brief experience, has the unfortunate reputation of being one of the wettest places in Lochaber. The rain was heavy again, the burns and rivers were raging. The points we crossed streams yesterday were totally impassable today and this dictated lengthy detours for us over really nasty boggy ground. I feel like we spent more time getting ourselves and kit in position than to do the actual measurements.
I came home to Roy Bridge and Mrs SJR said there hadn’t been a drop of rain at home.

Three days out of two relates to how often it rains in Glen Tarbert.

This is a brief lull in the rain and you can just make out the distinctive profile of the Pap of Glencoe in the distance
