A bit of Balsam bashing

Spent the morning in Kentmere, locating and uprooting plants of the invasive Himalayan Balsam (also known as Policeman's Helmet) which in previous years has been spreading downstream and into the tarn. My colleague is halfway down the bank, showing real determination in her work.
