Today

visited the Anderton Boat Lift in Northwich. Got some amazing pictures of the lift & was going to use until i took this one.

The canal had different sizes of ice floating on top & as the barges went slowly past you could hear the ice breaking up.

This piece of ice was hanging over the edge & was melting very quickly so didn't have time to use my Canon. Took this with my iPhone. The only thing i've done is to enlarge the picture. Apologies if the resolution has blurred the image on a big screen.

Will try to Blip the Boat Lift tomorrow :-)
