Anchovy soup

It's a bit hard to see what's happening here, so bear with me while I explain...

The black color in the ocean is fish...dense swarms of anchovies. The clear patches are where there are seals swimming around, and the fish are keeping out of the way. I don't think the seals were feeding, just playing. They were probably stuffed full already. The fish were flipping out onto the beach, alive, because there were so many of them.

These are what the whales feed on. Can't begin to estimate how many there are in the bay.
