Reach Out!

One of my friends has kindly loaned me a baby gym for Ethan. We've put him in it a few times now but today is the first time he has shown any interest in it. He was lying there quite happily for ages, just looking around, and taking the occasional bash at the dangly toys (ok so he was probably just waving his arms around and hitting them by accident, but I'd like to think he knew what he was doing)!

I dressed in him a "newborn" outfit today rather than the "tiny baby" ones he has been wearing up until now. Although we've got tons of clothes for him, it was only when I looked for a newborn one that I realised we only have two of them as everything else is 0-3 months or above! Good excuse to go shopping for a couple more outfits, methinks!

Not sure if he's having a growth spurt, but he has hardly stopped feeding all day. And when he hasn't been feeding, he has been quite awake and alert. Fingers crossed he'll be so worn out he'll sleep well tonight, but I wouldn't put money on it!
