Unexpected visitors

Grandma and Grampa Tracey arrived yesterday unexpectadly (well we had just over 2 hours notice in which Euan ran about cleaning the house.

This is Ivy capturing everyones attention at the dinner table. I was very proud of dinner, standard bangers and mash was accompanied by pureed turnip and roasted rainbow beetroots (yellow is my favourite) from my garden. Ivy's pudding was mased potato, yoghurt and coco powder- not as bad tasting as you might think. Euan is convinved there is a market for dessert potatoes.

After Ivy went to bed the Tracey's did family cryptic crosswords- I worked out a clue, but only after the answer had been googled. That's why this is a short blip, as the laptop was being used last night for crosswording so I didn't blip at my usual time and now can only vaguly remember yesterday.
