Quiet Pool

This is a quiet pool in the fern house in the gardens next to the hospital. I went here while Karen and her family went to see the doctors about what is going to happen with her mum. I thought it better to leave it to them. I have been through this process with my own mother so know how hard some of these decisions are going to be.
The fern house is a quiet reflective place in the gardens, hardly anyone ever seems to be there when I am there. So I found it place to remember the past and enjoy the quietness. There was a little waterfall and the water was so clear and the water was gurgling away further down the stream. When I left I met some one I used to teach a while back and she too was walking in the gardens while her daughter was in the hospital for treatment for cancer. It was a lovely day weather wise but a sad day too. we parted company wishing each other well
