Day 37: City Hall

This is the roof of the newly refurbished, newly opened Vijećnica. It's now the city hall, but before was the national library. It was bombed during the war, and the building was reduced to rubble and about 2 million books and other resources were lost.

Obviously, they can never be recovered, but the restoration of the building was breathtaking. The roof is so colourful, and the light refracts all around the hall.
