The Coral Tree And The Rainbow Lorikeet

We wandered down to the coral trees (Erythrina x sykesii) again this morning and the rainbow lorikeets were there in full force. They rip off the flowers to get at the nectar and there are huge drifts of flowers under each tree!

Toto sits very quietly and watches them flit around, the birds in turn move back a ways and keep a wary eye on him! :)
