Drove back home today - have been spending a couple of days in the Chester-Le Street area

The accommodation we were staying at had 100 acres of grounds - which overlooked the Beamish Valley

Some of these acres were given over to various animals - including sheep - goats - hens - rabbits - as well as a splendid herb flower and vegetable garden - where cuttings could be taken and brought home.

Spotted this chap - near to the stables - a large equestrian centre is also on the site - on a last look around this morning
