Thistlebrig area of the River Tay, on the day of the first ever Tay Descent - a canoe and kayak race. Organised and run by the Scottish Canoe Association. There were loads of participants, and it all went well. Starts at Dunkeld, for the long course event, or Stanley Mills for the short course. Finishes in Perth, where, to match in with the event, the annual Canoe Exhibition weekend is on - lots of boats and gear for sale, or to be looked over, along with presentations etc.

These two are just trying to figure out the best line for a mini-rapid they're approaching. I liked the Autumn colours in the background in this one of (too) many taken today.
