One Planet Planters.

A lovely sunny day here and I was in Accrington and shopping to buy birthday cards and gold nail polish from Superdrug.
I am not into bling and glamour except for colourful and metallic nail polishes and artistic bracelets.
Confession over!
I priced up the Suma weekly order at One Planet, and while I was there, Ian and the One Planet planters were harvesting the edible delights they had been growing in the raised beds behind the shop.
They were all happy to be photographed and I explained about blipfoto.
The produce included onions, potatoes, broad beans, peas, lettuces, a variety of good herbs such as rosemary, sage and thyme and rhubarb.
It is exciting to see all their efforts turning out so successfully.
The sunshine will have helped this year.
When I got home, Maria was back from York and Arthur had got so excited he ran in and out of the catflap and then stayed in the study/ spare room all afternoon.
Bizarre behaviour!
