On The High Street

The wonderful July weather continues; this is the best English July in terms of warmth and sunshine, since records began. Although there was a little rain shower about 4.00pm which just gently cleared the air, watered the lawn and lowered the temperature to a pleasantly acceptable degree.

Dad has taken over from mum as chief carer and we had a gentle walk across The Common, watching the scudding clouds, before a foray into Waitrose for something scrumptious for tea.
