Fort George

Visited Fort George, near Inverness, today.

Excellent place, well worth a visit. If you go make sure to take the recorded tour as it has loads of information.

Had mixed feelings about it. Amazing structure but one that was built for war and was used to subdue an already defeated people. It is still a military base and soldiers are still leaving to fight in conflicts around the world. I hope anyone who leaves it to fight makes it home again.
